Villány is the southernmost wine region of Hungary. Protected from the northern cold winds by small hills this area has an unique Sub-Mediterranean microclimate.
Hot summers and long dry falls and a soil made of clay-brown forest / loess on limestone provide for excellent blue grape production.
Jammertal Wine Estate ( Est. in 2001 ) boosts of 210 acres of vineyards on finest terroir and two adjoining wineries equipped by highest standards.
We strive to produce high – end full-bodied red wines from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties.
Our wineries were built purposefully and use state-of-art technology combined with a long lasting winemaking tradition of our region.
